Can you share a little bit about how you got started with affiliate marketing and when you started?
When MCO began, I wanted to do something useful while I stay at home. And because I did a lot of online shopping during MCO, I started promoting items that I bought on my social media accounts using affiliate links. Then I started earning more and more money everyday using the affiliate links.
What was interesting about affiliate marketing?
I don’t have to promote products without earning anything like I did previously. Now I get to share my review about a product while earning money when someone is interested about the product and wants to buy it. This is great as a side income for me especially in this new normal we are living in.
How did you first find out about affiliate marketing?
From a friend, MoKA who also uses affiliate marketing to promote items in his social media accounts.
Were you worried that it might be a scam?
At first, yes. But I heard good feedbacks from my friends who tried it before. And I thought why not I give it a try too. What’s more, it’s free!

How has your life changed since starting affiliate marketing?

How does your regular day look like?
I don’t have daily work at office like the others. I just stay at home. Sometimes, I attend events because I’m a blogger. When I stay at home, I create useful contents for my social media.
Did you manage to influence your friends or family to join affiliate marketing?
Yes! Lots of my friends are now trying affiliate marketing.
How is affiliate marketing helping you in terms of career and finances?
Financially, the income I am earning is of great help since I don’t have a permanent daily job that gives me a steady salary at the end of the month. Affiliate marketing is helping me to earn enough money.
Do you see yourself doing affiliate marketing in the long run or is it a short stint?
Long run.

What were the challenges you faced when you first joined affiliate marketing?
Some people are afraid to click the affiliate link while some are not interested. But I keep trying everyday and I learn new ways to promote items using multiple platforms.
What are the new challenges you are facing now?
Not much. I just need to always find a way to keep my followers interested.
What are your tips to remain relevant and active on the social media platform?
Keep updating your social media accounts daily, interact with your followers, and create creative contents.
What do you think is the key to be a successful affiliate marketer?
